I don't think there's any way Sony will cut the price. Right now they have to focus on keeping the vita profitable rather than trying to compete with the 3ds and gain market share. All I think they'll do is bundle memory cards.


In the West... ONLY a price cut can save the Vita, but as you say that would be commercially unviable. (never stopped sony before though)

No. Games are much more important.

I know I'm not even considering buying a Vita until they get some games announced for it.(for this year) have you looked at the release schedule for Vita this year? It's barren.
