| Barozi said: Sounds good. I just hope that the A.I. is passing the ball less often than in FIFA 12 on the higher difficulties. Seriously starting at Pro difficulty every team you play against feels a bit like Barca. That was the only thing I missed from FIFA 11, since EA got that right there. |
I agree, it is just a joke. I was playing against Lichenstein (in the UEFA 2012 expansion) on world class and their passing percentage was over 90%....
But FIFA 12 does play nicely, but there are 3 main problems that have been driving me mad (that last bit doesn't matter that much because I mostly play with other people either in co-op or competitive)
1. Player Impact Engine. It looks nice, but the fouls are just broken. It is so ridiculously annoying when you give away penalties without doing anything (sometimes given away by players that you aren't even controlling)
2. Confidence based rubbish. They say they want to remove scripting and just make it all down to skills, but from experience, if you shoot with someone who has already scored, he is FAR more likely to score, it is maddening
3. Career mode youth players. So I played about 10 seasons of career, and by the end, there were about 1/4 as many 80+s as at the start. The youth system was just broken in a few ways. Firstly, they didn't grow enough, my striker grew about 2 per season from the ages of 16-24, getting to around 78, but he often scored around 50 goals per season... Secondly, the AI doesn't know what to do with them, sometimes top PL teams were playing guys who were ~60
But EA have made great strides recently and I have confidence they will continue to do so!
