Yeah, that's what I'm saying, the game is basically doing the thinking for you and instead of options and choices you are simply presented with the everything at once. What if I want to pour all my points into Strength for instance? I can't, not with this system since the game distributes all the points for me. The game could still be a lot fun but I fail to see how this lack of depth will keep me enthralled like the last Diablo. I think the whole situation might become at least slightly better when the first expansion pack is released.
Autoplay features, quicktime events and win buttons have no business being in RPG's in my opinion. Then again, seeing how few games I've actually enjoyed this gen, maybe I'm just a hopeless dinosaur who pines for dead and dying recipes and concepts.
Edit; badgenome; that is certainly a part of my thought process. The console friendly business model is strangling traditional RPG's and strategy games.
