i hope so but if they don't really release new games for the actual one for years now, i'm not sure if people who buy a console for gaming see a reason to buy the nextbox because they will think that it will happen exactly the same for nextbox. if there wouldn't be halo and if i wouldn't hate the ps3 controller so much, i would have sold my 360 half a year ago because halo is the only reason i still have one. like i said, many of my friends sold their 360 the last year and that was one of the reasons i loved my 360, because i played all the time with them. they don't need a console to watch movies, they use a laptop and a hdmi cable to the tv for that. i have ~60k gamerscore and didn't play over half an year now on my 360. started few days ago with bastion, i bought it last year over the pc for 360 and forgot it lol...
i mean, it's not like sony wouldn't have all the movie and music stuff on their next playstation. they are the biggest music company on the planet now, i bet it will get a good integration for the ps4. and then, you have the same services on ps4, have the same multi-plats and you can be sure to get exclusives over the whole lifespan and not only the first 3-4 years and then only one or two every year (core games)
