What Nintendo needed to do was name the system "DS 2" or "DS Advance"... anything to make it clear that it is the next-gen DS- not merely a 3D DS. I'm tired of explaining to people that the 3DS is actually more than just a DS with 3D graphics. It would've been best if the 3D was touted as a unique optional feature (because it is), and not as the system's key selling point.
Or Nintendo could've scrapped the 3D and played it 100% safe. Who needs innovation?
