Nah, it's due to California's huge budget problems which preceded any economic blame someone might wanna put on Bush.
It led them to raising taxes, driving buisness away,
allowing Arnold Swartzneggar to become govonor in attempt to fix it, but with no state representatives willing to make cuts.
Then the financial disaster happened. Things just got worse, California got more desperate, tried to pry more money from buisnsses forced more away.
California is largely relying on Hollywood and Silcoln Valley's "Culture of Collaboration."
That is, that said groups do better around a lot of people like them... and there is way more of them in Cali then anywhere else.
Well and the weather is nice.
