(reason for my bet with Jay520) MS didn't say they would NOT be showing neXtBox at E3, just that they had no intention of discussing it yet.... yet was a couple months ago, no mention of E3. Their E3 quote also was not firm but more of a maybe. People just take it too literally. Plus, if they want the surprise factor on Sony and Nintendo.... why the hell would they say anything different. I think this is as a very plausible rumor with final hardware being produced for launch this holiday. Considering my bet... I'm going to run with it. :) Side note, MS and Sony are definitely showing next gen at this E3... just accept that as fact. Too many MS rumors of Durango and Sony specifically stating they plan on beating MS to market. Its going to happen. |
I agree with this, the next generation's planning stages are a lot further along than people think and certainly beyond what the manufacturers themselves would have you believe.
