No one wants to answer because it is irrelevant. The very fact that you have to combine a bunch of different facts, draw connections between them, and then consult the chicken bones for an answer, rather than point to a statement from an official source means that it is not, in fact, "confirmed."

I mean other than the obvious answer which is that it will be tied to an account.  I assure though, my deductive reasoning didn't require animal bones of any sort, fowl or otherwise.  Rather, the simple logic that to guy a game on a seperate device would require a method of identifying the owner and the target machine.  Considering they will have user accounts, I think I can be pretty damn sure that will be the method used to identify you with.  Because other than that, you'd need something like your consoles MAC address which, aside from wholly defeating the purpose of having multiple user accounts per console, would be a step backwards already from the 3DS which runs on the same netowrk Wii U does.

I seriously don't see the difficulty in understanding this.    I have to assume you guys use deductive reasoning every single day but you're smaking me econd guessing my faith at the moment.   You guys don't need Iwata to tell you that C comes after B which comes after A.
