Let's start with the Wii U being capable of multiple user accounts. "Also for the Wii U, we are planning to introduce a personal account system compatible with Nintendo Network. With this, for example, the ease of using a video game system when the hardware is shared by multiple family members...." So you have your multiple user accounts per console right there. Now as I mentioned before, would it make sense to have multiple user accounts per console and then still tie the software to the hardware? Further, when you buy a game from the eShop, do you think the eShop will reconize the console or the user account? Let's not forget that Nintendo is linking the eShop with your Club Nintendo account. They do this on 3DS already but as we know, that's tied to a console because it only has 1 account. When they link it to the Wii U, it will have to be tied to individual user accounts. And lastly, Nintendo plans to take the eShop to the PC. How do you think it will be linked? User accounts, not a console. So I don't even need Iwata to say it specifically because the inferences, the circumstances of the network and their plans plus some deductive reasoning make itvery clear which way it's going to go. |
awesome, thank you for proving my point. you don't have a source, you have wishful thinking and the desire to hear the answer you want to hear.
