I know what you mean.

I love and prefer my console experiences, but there are some games that just suit PC so well. I love the bump in graphics and frame-rate, the ability to mod the game and the mouse and keyboard combo. Sometimes I just wish I wasn't so OCD and think that I need a physical copy, trophies / achievements and to keep similar games on one system. I played Fallout 3 on PC yesterday and I was having a blast, I regret buying Skyrim for the 360.

I have exactly the same feeling. I am planning on building a gaming PC, but I really love the PS3 and its ecosystem, and to be able to look on my shelf and see 100+ games there is just great. Of course, having trophies on top of that....

But there are many many advantages of PC gaming, especially if you buy yourself an Xbox controller for PC, you have almost everything a console gamer has, just missing the slightly more cohirent ecosystem and console exclusives (hence I will own a Sony platform so long as SCE WWS keeps pumping out great games), BUT then of course you get better graphics in PC and can mod the game

In terms of pricing, consoles are the obvious choice, but if you can afford it, PC gaming seems to offer a lot more
