I've noticed that. Sponge Bob actually has things I didn't get when I was younger that I laugh to now. (AKA, I get them.)

Trust me you will be shocked what you missed. I notice this the most with sitcoms. But since your generation has even more access to the Internet than mine, there is a good chance you will understand a lot of these jokes at an earlier age than my generation did. You live in an awesome time to be young.
