The problem I have with Skyward Sword is that it feels Nintendo only rushed the title to showcase the proper use of Motion Plus on their dying console (which also felt like Nintendo forfeited)
I don’t have a problem with its fundamental mechanics, after all it wouldn’t be Zelda, but its core formula is starting to get repetitive, and frankly, predictable (@OP “keys, key items, etc”).
Its sidequests are also just that, and is not engaging at all.
Its main story also feels like they’re trying to convince the Zelda community like they really do have a fluid master timeline; what they showed us was BS.
Also, the inclusion of Fi is a slap in the every Zelda fans’ face. This goes to show how Nintendo views the Zelda fans. Fi’s useless. Its actual purpose is to show emotional connection between Link (Or the player) and the Master Sword but that obviously failed miserably.
Being that you’re Zelda fan, you’re obviously confusing the Zelda “magic” by extracting the known emotion you already have with the Zelda series. I believe it’s called nostalgia. It’s actually what makes most of Nintendo franchises successful.
