Doubts have been growing for nearly twenty years now. Still not matured.

Well, Nintendo pretty much shattered those with the gigantic success of the Wii, and the collapse of the Playstation market.

I think Nintendo will continue its ascent in sales. It is going into next generation stronger than it did last generation; and it is also not doing anything inherently wrong (Like they did with N64 caretridges, Cube being marketed as PS2 for children, and PS3 costing more than double its competition). The biggest announcements are on the horizon as well.

I can see Wii U beating 3DS's record - hopefully Nintendo doesn't squander potential sales like it did with the WIi. Many people didn't buy a Wii because they couldn't get one.

I think Wii U launch is going to be huge.  It's going to appeal not only to us as hardcore gamers who are finally getting an HD Nintendo console, but also a lot of those Wii Sports fans who are looking for something new to get for Christmas.  I think Ninty's being a little too bashful about their sales estimates.  I think they could easily find themselves in a situation like Wii where they're basically sold out for 2 years straight because demand is so high.
