I did chapter 1 at 9.0, chapter 2 and 3 at 8.0.  But I mostly complete the chapters at 7.0.

On your first runthrough? Because the heart requirement would stop you from doing what you're saying. 9.0 is expensive. Hell, the ante doubles between 4.1 and 4.8
