- Plenty of great IPs, rich history
- Various innovations, interesting hardware and software game integrations
Dislikes
- Their controllers have been very dissapointing except the gamecube's, the wii mote didn't do motion as well as it should have but with plus now it is better, the wii mote also is a terrible traditional controller lacking analog sticks requiring an additional controller to provide
- IPs focus mainly on younger audience accessability which is not conductive to the fact I age, because of this varies genres have gone untouched or atleast lack the capabilities to provide "realism"
- Gravitating away from core games to cater to casual markets thus creating a dissapointing 7th gen for many long time gamers
- Lack of 3rd party support, lack of games not using motion controlls
- Late entry to HD, online market and multiplayer, point based currency
S: Likes
- Plenty of great IPs, diverse in genre and age group
- Great controller
- 3rd party friendly, plenty of 3rd party support
- Various innovations, strong R&D company willing to implement new technology
- Excellent social media presence, fan centric
- Large company with many products providing more than just gaming
- Free online, PS Plus model
Dislikes
- Inconsolable negative public image, under scrutiny
- late online infastructure
- premature introduction of the Cell processor, not developer friendly, expensive for consumer and company
- hit and miss marketing
