Who did what wrong this gen? (big 3, devs, pubs, consumers)

I think that a large part of the PS2's success can be attributed to the failings of the competition.

It also proves that better graphics =/= always win. (NGC had the best graphics, right?)

Quite so, the GC was fairly powerful, more so than the PS2. The x-box was the most powerful though.
