I hate reading stories like these. I feel for the girl and her parents but I also understand what the agent were doing and I'm sure they weren't enjoying doing that to a little girl either. It's just sad that we have to do stuff like this to people.

You DON'T have to do this stuff to people. Here are two questions for you:

1- How many terrorists have been caught due to groping 4-year olds, or 90-year olds, or 30-year olds for that matter? How has that helped?

2- Do planes keep falling down from the skies in countries that don't grope people before they enter a plane?

If a big proportion of the American public believes that things like these are necessary, then the U.S. is truly becoming a country full of pussies. One or two terrorist attacks is all it took?

You're right, but people aren't going to listen to you if you're going to be obnoxious.

Its not that the US is full of pussies. Everyone simply agrees we need security at airports, but most just don't know there are better options than the TSA.

A lot of airports actually want to get rid of the TSA. But they're forced on most by the government. This is just another example of how big government does everything poorly and its worldwide problem.

It's not about being obnoxious, it's about calling a spade a spade. If someone is willing to let their kids be groped for some nebulous promise of "security", I believe they are indeed total pussies.

You're wrong about it being a worldwide problem. In Europe I never got groped in order to board a plane. And Europe is pretty much the paragon of "big government" according to Americans (never mind that the same opposers of "big government" are often the biggest supporters of the death penalty which is essentially the government's right to outright kill someone that they judge guilty of certain crimes, but that's a whole other story).
