Two discs, a USB dongle, and a subscription...
It's like somebody set out to create the most inconvenient video game they possibly could. I suppose it's optimized for the Classic Controller as well. Wait, why not add a proprietary custom controller? And you can ship a code booklet that people will need to check before they can play! Adding barriers to enjoyment is fun!
