So its:
    1)Buy the game in a box from a store like you usually do.
    2)Download the game directly off the Nintendo eShop using your Internet connection, at the packaged price.
    3)Buy the download version of the game from a store,retailer set prices.

You know, that third option balances out the entire plan perfectly, with the retailer setting prices thing. But not feeling to type out some long wall of text explaining it so :P.

But lets just say it can lead to increased/prolonged game sales, cheaper prices while still retailer/publisher making the same(or even more) money than they do now, and higher new : used game sales ratio.

Small hint: The 16 digit codes can merely be email to retailers if needed.

 

Could be kind of a revolution.
