We need our screen experts to post here. Last time I think plasmas were proven to be better.

Does anybody know anything about 2012 year's models from Samsung (LED) and Panasonic (plasmas)?

For 2012 the Samsumg (PLASMA) is better than  Samsung (LED) or Panasonic (PLASMA).

Are you sure these are 2012 models? Arent they 2011 models reviewed?

Anyway, the Samsung Plasma, what are the downsides in gaming? Does it support 1080p in 3D?

These are the lastest models from Samsumg, Panasonic and others released in the late 2011... the new HDTV from they are planned to be released in late 2012.

About that Samsumg Plasma... I can't find any dowside for games... there are some problem with black-level performance in shadown details in 1080p/24 but I saw that just in Blu-ray movies (well... most game are 720p)... the Smart Hub interface is confusing and so slow.

I have no game or movie in 1080p 3D do make tests.

I want a Samsung plasma so bad. I love the Samsung 8000 LED series but I heard it's got much problems with bleeding/clouding and that CNET reviews seems to confirm that.

To the Samsung plasma. In the review it's called Samsung PN59D8000. But what is the same model called in my country Sweden?

Here in my country I see a Samsung PS64D8005 (2011 model) and Samsung PS64E8005 (2012 model) - are these the same as in the review?
