while I find the races with the 2012 rubber from pirelli very intense I agree with Schumacher who said that the races are now more about taking care of your tires instead of racing on the maximum you can as a driver with the car you got.. which is a shame for more agressive drivers like kobyashi. Do we want drivers who can drive at incredibly fast speeds, or do we want them to be drivers who can manage tyres?

i agree with what schumacher said too about the tyres,it is hard to see what the perfect combination is in F1 or what they are trying to achieve but in the end you have to let the drivers race rather than think..mmm....better watch it the tyres will be going in 4 laps

or like in qualifying: I loved the race from Raikonnen yesterday but he "saved" a set of softs in qualifying and ended up starting as 11th.. which is pretty f*cked up.. and I think we will see more of that.. better teams not running in Q3 to save a set of softs... I want them to do their best not saving their best..

I also think it's hampering the overtaking... People don't really do a really gutsy "Jacques VIlleneuve do or die" overtaking move cause they are scared to ruin the tire.... but they also made it too easy with the DRS stuff.. overtaking is now just a simple wait untill you are close enough, open the DRS and cruise pass them on the straight line..
