just another answer from me, you shouldn't think like you think. you have no problem that you aren't ambitious and little bit lazy, that is ok for you, sure, because that is your character, but think like this:
"how would i think if i wouldn't be lazy and if i would be ambitious and not a homebody"
it's simple, if you are lazy, you can live with other people who are like you and you can live with people you aren't and love to work for a good career. but if you aren't lazy and if you do everything to be succesful, you don't have interest in people who are lazy and only sit at home doing nothing special.
even men think like that if it comes to woman. not as much as woman do think about men but they still think like that. if your aim would be to have a succesful life (succesful like "having a reputable job") you wouldn't go out with woman who say "i like to sit in front of my tv watching talkshows."
so only woman who are like you are maybe interested in you and even then, there are some who think they can get a man with money even if most can't if they don't look very hot.
you coukd go to another country were it isn't a shame to have a normal job without earning a lot of money. a country where money is still not number one for most of all people. there are still some countries were many people think like this but you live in one of the worst countries of the whole planet if it comes to the society dispising others if they aren't succesful. at least i think if you live in a big city it's like that, in a small village it's maybe ok to be not a wall street guy but there are less woman^^
