I would prefer a Feb 2013 release, just before God of War Ascension's inevitable Macrh release (home console God of War titles have always released in March). It would feel like 2010, when Heavy Rain released just before God of War III. Then again, I doubt Sony would put out two big first paty titles like that back-to-back (Heavy Rain wasn't/isn't first party - so it worked there), but we'll see. You may be right.

They haven't shot it down, all they say is that they have no timeframe right? That just means they have no release date. I think Sony will push N-dog for a november release, so they have something for november (possibly to be bundled with cheaper ps3?).

What they said was that the crunch period for Uncharted 3 was hellish, so they won't accounce a release date so far in advance in future, I think Naughty Dog can do what they want, they are now Sony's top dog, so they will get leeway over The Last of Us, so I think the best we will see will be a rough release date rather than an actual date at E3
