With AC3, Arkham City, Darksiders 2 already confirmed for launch, Mario and Pikmin hinted and the possibility of Bioshock, RE6, COD and GTA5 all being announced for it during E3, its not hard to see why it'll be be the best launch line up of all time.

The problem is 110m+ people already have a ps3/360 which means they will have access to these games, in some cases months in advance. Suddenly all that counts is nintendo's 1st party titles. Shane could be hinting at bigger things, but i think he's just talking about the 3rd party support.

well Im not sure about 110 million, a lot of people have both

The xbox360 has sold 67m units and the ps3 around 65m, which adds to around 130m, im not sayin 110m have both a ps3 and 360 but that 110m own one or the othe. Obviously not all of are orginal purchases, e.i. replacing broken 360 and updating to ps3 slim etc. But otherwise these 110-130m almost equate to the whole gaming market. these people are essential to the Wii U succeeding.

I think that there will be about 300 million consoles sold next gen (unless something drastic happens), and I think that this generation will end up around 250 million consoles sold. That would mean that an additional 50m systems will be sold between gen7 and gen8 - and if Nintendo can get them they'll be home safe (or whatever the expration is - too tired to google it). Did any of that make sense? :P

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
