Sorry I haven't been back, I just been watching one of the best Nintendo Directs of all time!
New firmware update is very awesome and needed - being able to organize my games and videos is now possible(or will be on the 25th!) Plus patch support for Kid Icarus, Mario Kart 7, and future games! The Kid Icarus update is for more editing for stylus controls, changing background themes(you have to play the game to see what I mean), I think they also added new controls such as manual dodging and combining powers. Also, I think there's an update for the multiplayer too!
I was very surprised to see New Super Mario Bros 2. and that it's coming in August! I love the New series!
That Pokemon AR searcher app seems interesting, though I can't understand the reason for pricing the viewer app. Maybe once we get some for info it'll start to make sense, but right now it doesn't.
I think Animal Crossing 3D is right around the corner now!
