it's a personal achievement, "I want to try to see" is the key part, becasue who wouldn't, you and I would have said the exact same thing? that doesn't detract from the realistic expectations the company had and to say it is is just silly, really silly, much like saying Ferrari is a failure becasue the CEO said he would have "liked" their cars to sell as much as Toyotas, but then again logic escapes most people, especially when they have a chip on thier shoulder...
oh and last time I checked PS3 hasn't been out for 9 years, and hasn't reahed 200 dollars yet , Sony drops that price, phase out the PS2 for PS3 in emerging markets and considering how much longer the ps3 lasted in it's traditional lifespan it could last even longer in it's twilight years, there's nothing to say the PS3 can't get there, I imagine a 99 dollar PS3 would go on for a really long time
