The most disappointing game I've ever played? Probably Sonic 3D Blast for the Sega Genesis for two reasons:
1. Compared to the excellence of Sonic 1,2,3, & Knuckles, it was just an all around mediocre game.
2. It was a sign of things to come. 3D Sonic has completely taken over (it's not that I don't like 3D Sonic games... but there needs to be a balance). The best we can get are portable games from Dimps (which are way too focused on speed and not the actual platforming) and download titles (which show hints of greatness... but are still priority #2 for Sonic Team).
