Never doubted it for a second. The real question is just how much of a punch the WiiU will he packing. I still doubt it will he more then 2.5x the power but 50% more powerful then PS3 sounds like the absolute weakest it will be. I wonder Epic said Unreal4 required a minimum of 10x the power of 360 but recently the rumor of 50% more powerful specifically stated PS3. So was Epic also talking PS3 or were they talking 360? If they were talking 360 I wonder how much more powerful a console would have to he over the PS3 to run it?
If Nintendo's WiiU is 2.5x the power of PS3 wouldn't that be almost 5x the power of 360?
Personally I am not holding my breath for a 5x the power of PS3. But if it was at least powerful enough to receive ports from NextBox/PS4 I would be happy. Problem is if we believe rumors Microsoft is in an arms race to make their system a super power. I'm not sure Nintendo can aim for the minimum specs and receive ports.
It will be interesting how Nintendo handles this. I suspect it will be a 1.5x to 2.5x the power of PS3 and likely fail to receive next Gen ports in massive quantities much as they did Wii. I cant see Nintendo getting into a arms race with Microsoft even if their intent isn't victory.
