It's simple really. Holding their event at 2am in Europe time means that nobody is going to be able to stay up late enough. It's a well known fact that there is a drought in Europe, and that means nobody is going to be able to brew coffee or tea to help them stay up. This takes away from the average fan's ability to participate in the fun, thereby lowering overall feeling of inclusion, and maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow, it will result in a widespread feeling of disassociation with Sony and subsequent selling of all ps3s and vitas. Mark my words, this is the first megaton of E3 2012. |
The show isn't meant for Europe. Its an American convention that got so big that it is shown worldwide. E3 is the only Megaton of 2012. If nothing happens at E3 at this stage in the game in most cases you wont find bigger news at any other convention. It's not a fail on Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft for being in the morning. DVR it and when you wake up, it will be there or get the feed on Gametrailers, IGN or Gamespot.
