I think most peopel would accept that the number of quality Japanese games is much kless this gen than last... Of course there are exception, but I think most sensible people would agree here.

These people arent just saying this for effect, its been a widely held and discussed belief for a few years now.  VGC is one of those places where digging at anything Japanese is almost heresy.

It's only applicable if you consider the games industry to be "High end HD Development." Everywhere else on dedicated consoles, Japan is winning in a walk. The West is lol on Wii and the handhelds.
