I don't doubt those specs are rumored from the dev kits. Early dev kits are almost always down graded compatible hardware that devs can code on to create launch/early next gen games. Even if, utilization will produce greater frame rates while being able to multi-task interface. It's very important to note the inclusion of better programming platforms like DX11 and a newer OpenGL. As mentioned those allow much greater graphics and techniques to be render on hardware that is equally powerful. Add all of those variables and the PS4 will undoubtably be better than the PS3, just like the Wii U will be.

I see Sony going for a medium powered console along the lines of the Wii U or greater. If Microsoft goes full steam like 360 and PS3 did this gen then Sony will have a distinct advantage over them with price point and in teaming up with Nintendo for the multiplatform market. I'm not the biggest fan of Xbox, and I would like to see PlayStation and Nintendo together next gen like PS3 and Xbox were this gen.

No guarentee next gen consoles will be announced at E3, there could be plenty of time before we see the final specs. Can't wait for E3!

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
