Ninja Gaiden DS was really good, there's also Chrono Trigger if you haven't played it before. I also recommend Hotel Dusk, but be warned this is more of an interactive novel, that means a LOT of reading, the game is slow paced. If you like to read I recommend it, but it's definitely not for everyone. At least try to play it up to the second chapter, cause the first one is more of a tutorial and a bit boring, then the story gets more interesting and I couldn't put it down.

Also, 999 I read is similar, but I haven't played it yet. Oh, and any Castlevania, I loved Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Eclessia.

Holy shit! Chrono Trigger is available on DS? I never got a chance to play it as a kid because I as a Sega fanboy! Will have to grab this for sure just to see what all the hype is about. Is it a direct port of the original or has anything been tweaked or added?

Well it has touchscreen support, some menus were changed although you have the option to play it with traditional menus and controls. They added the cinematics from the PS2 and there are some new weapones and sidequests added, and 1 or 2 new endings, don't remember very well.
