I did, but that can be only to make the map look more "map-ey", like in the old maps.
The desert resort area finally looks like it will be making justice to it's name 
. And it's nice to see that the islands west of Castelia city have been developed as well, though the changes look to be pretty drastic for a 2 year span only.
