What I've seen from UC2 and KZ2 so far includes linear storyline(albeit a decent one) with stunning set visuals in the background and the "stages" that have been preset before and rarely are altered as you progress, whereas Witcher 2 is shaping up to be a great roaming open world game. The witcher 2 is not open world, it has some larger areas that split up into smaller sub areas which you can walk between but are usally broken up by sets of doors (or narrow corridors or short cutscenes) to hide the loading. There are large detailed vistas but the actual size of the actual playable sub areas while larger than most game levels are not as large as say one of the cities in an Assassin's Creed game or anything.
