this reminds me of that thread, Parker made where he said 360 would beat PS3 yr. end 2011.
the sad part about parkers situation, is he had little to go on. leo-j, just isn't sound enough for me to believe or care whether it happens or not. at least Parker had me convinced at one point, but leo-j doesn't even have me interested enough to care, not to mention, he hasn't given the one thing i asked for, and the one thing Parker didn't need and that's a timeline, forecasting the sales for each yr. for both Wii, and PS3 comparison until the yr. he thinks it will happen.
no it won't happen, and you haven't convinced anyone it will!! the only things i'll give you is, price point, and Wii's down turn. other then that, i see nothing else you've said as holding water.
Wii 2013 will likely have sold 105m units while PS3 will likely have slowed as will 360 to around 10-13m.
PS3 in 2013 will likely be 85-88m, with 360 being around 82-85
PS3 in 2014 will likely have toped 96-100m Wii likely 108-110
PS3 2015 will be over 103m while Wii hits 112m
and finally PS3's 10 yr. will have PS3 at 110m WW with Wii likely still ahead by 4m
2016 is the 7th gen.'s final yr. ending Sonys 10 yr. plan, with them coming up short by 4m. nope not this gen.
360 will be discontinued in 2014, giving MS a more resources to focus on 720, keeping them competitive.
