Tekken 6 lagged in features behind Tekken 5....

Slower over-all gameplay
Fewer training mode options
Tekken force mode successor continues to get worse
Rage mode...

Basically, the only thing Tekken 6 improved on was graphics, and character counts.. All else was meh.

I couln't tell a speed difference at all, all tekkens run at the same fps as well. age mode made hardly any difference so its a so so addition.

Each character has rage-mode-only death combos.  And, the speed of the gameplay has slowed from tekken 5.  It doesn't matter that the game is running at 60 frames.  If an attack has 4 frames of animation in tekken 5, ans 12 frames in tekken 6, then, guess what, it's slower, because the animations have been slowed down.

I have tekken 5 on PS2, PSP, and PS3, Dark Resurrection (online) where applicable.  I still have all of these games, and I still play Tekken 6.  There is no doubt that the game is slower.  It's not an opinion.  Anyone that actually knows how to play a Tekken game will tell you Tekken 6 is, impossible-to-doubt, slower paced than Tekken 5..  And, rage mode will get you a win with 2 solid combos, no matter how much life the other player has.  Most moderately powerful attacks will take off around a quarter of life, without damage scale, and, many rage mode combos will get you to the 90% range.  Just perform 2 combos, and you win..

Terrible idea.

That being said, it's not in TTT2 in it's T6 form, so, I'm willing to look past it, and see how this tweak will effect the game.

naa I can't agree with most of that. and anyone who knows how to play will not tell you that.
