people have very strange views and angles on things... spin for the win.

did the lead the 360 has over the PS3 in the US grow or fall this month? it grew.

did the lead the Wii has over the 360 in the US grow or fall this moth? it fell.

Strange in what way? We already know PS3>>360 everywhere else combined so a small victory for 360 in USA means PS3 is catching up fast

This is the NPD thread.

Anyway, the 360 is way ahead of the PS3 in THE two most important markets outside of Japan.  MS will happily take that into next gen.

Did I say anything different? Such a small difference in USA is good for PS3, like I said. That's why people are "spinning" according to you. Oh and unfortunately, two of the three most important markets are still not enough to be on top. What matters is the total

This is a NPD thread so why do people like you want to come into it and discuss other markets?  Why shit up the thread with off-topic nonsense that you could save for your threads about how wonderful the PS3 is and how wonderful it's doing?

I already explained it above. NPD isn't an isolated thing, it connects to other topics. And seriously, you're one to talk about going off-topic. You were talking shipped in a sold to consumers thread. I'm not saying that isn't allowed, but according to you it shouldn't be.

If the topic is U.S. numbers don't you think it's off topic to want to discuss world numbers instead?  There's a thread made about Spain's numbers every month or so for example that doesn't get a bunch of people going into it and mentioning worldwide numbers instead.  The same for ones about France and many other countries as well.  Yet when trying to have a discussion about America's numbers (or even the UK's numbers) it's like a magnet for a bunch of insecure people that come in and want to discuss numbers for other regions.

Actually just go into the weekly PAL charts threads and see how many people want to discuss worldwide numbers instead.
