Also, ps2 continued to sell more than half what 360 has sold this gen....so "superior brand and ps2" isn't a good argument when the ps2 is still there.

I understand your point, but take what is being said into context.
It took quite long to happen. Launched at 600$ and a year later with roughly the same graphics.
Do you still think it's qft'worthy to say that it took a long time? Any other console would have sold 10m and died on the spot.
