| Nem said: Doesnt really matter anymore. The technical result this gen was a winner in hardware sales: the Wii, and a tie between the 360 and the PS3 wich made every game come out for both of them. There was no clear software winner like the PS2 was last gen. The market was split. Wether one sells a million or less doesnt make any practical difference now. A new gen is about to start and a new contest begins again on wether we will have another tie or winners and losers. |
Saying like sales don't matter anymore because a new gen starts is like disregarding 60 million of PS2 sales this gen. Obviously, 360 and PS3 will keep on selling after next gen arrives. Wii will be dead after WiiU arrives.
I'm one of those people who believe PS3 will finish 1st place this gen many years later. Yes, it'll outsell the Wii. :)
