Doesnt really matter anymore.
The technical result this gen was a winner in hardware sales: the Wii, and a tie between the 360 and the PS3 wich made every game come out for both of them. There was no clear software winner like the PS2 was last gen. The market was split.
Wether one sells a million or less doesnt make any practical difference now. A new gen is about to start and a new contest begins again on wether we will have another tie or winners and losers.
