As a consumer I say hell no. I don't want F2P I don't want subscriptions and I definitely don't want episodic content. I wouldn't mind DLC in moderation though I would prefer Nintendo's old policy that DLC would be free and updated automatically. When Nintendo announced WiiConnect24 I was so optimistic and hopeful for consistent new content released freely and downloaded to your console. Nintendo did this with Pokemon and Animal Crossing but missed a crap load of opportunities to really take advantage of it.
However from a profit point of view. All three models could boost profits especially if Nintendo could get more users online. If Nintendo released one Episodic first party game, on F2P game and one subscription game like LoZ:MMO. it could really get Nintendo a ton of extra online business and potentially make a good profit. The problem would be the consumers aren't largely in support of any of those three methods.
I think DLC is the only thing Nintendo should begin to implement but if possible it should be free like Pokemon/AnimalCrossing. Paid DLC should be a last resort and Nintendo needs to provide a very good value worth in content to charge.
