I am pretty sure Retro has at least two games in the works. One likely a classic title reboot likely Star fox at least I hope so. The other game is probably an FPS now Retro is rumored to be working on a new IP I am hoping this will be Nintendo's own in house FPS.

The recent agreement with the studio of PGR well what remains of the studio. Shows Nintendo intends to have a presence across all genres. I suspect the long over due return to the FPS genre is coming with a new IP from Retro.

Look at all of their hires. Almost every hired employee came from a studio that works on shooters. Third or first person shooters. With CryTeks hire it looks like Nintendo could be working on their answer to Halo and KillZone.KillZone. Metroid was not Nintendo's answer to Halo it was an FPA not FPS and I am positive that Nintendo is looking to bring us a new FPS IP.

I expect Nintendo to launch multiple new IP.

As for the predictions I doubt that many of those games are really the only games. The WiiFitU team can make at least two casual titles in the two years since their last game by release they will have had three two titles minimum. Same goes for the the WiiUSports developer if they are actually making WiiUSports then they should have at least one other game nearly completed by launch.

Miyamoto has a new IP don't forget. I suspect a ton of first party software at least twelve for the launch year with a minimum of two-three on launch day!

I cant wait WiiU will be kick butt. I still remember Nintendo promising us seven launch day first party titles for Wii and not delivering. My bet is Nintendo will have more first party titles day one then they did Wii but probably under seven. Still psyched.
