Abuse of title editing (news threads)

I too must come down on the side of agreement with this. It works for official game threads because that's a relatively narrow scope of information (bits of news as the game creeps up, reviews after it releases), but for consoles or worse, companies, it simply bloats too much too fast.

At the same time, however, there's stuff in, say, Spurgeon's Nintendo news thread that is nice to know, but certainly wouldn't merit its own thread, so there is another side to this story.
