Because what you see in this video is Super Mario. Princess Toadstool (yes, that's her name) is actually taller than regular Mario.

To my knowledge she's always been Peach in Japan, no? Though if we go by that logic, we should all start calling Bowser "Koopa."

I thought that was just the European name?
