I wonder if it has anything to do with the poor quality Kinect games that have been coming out, like Star Wars Kinect recently.
Maybe they realized the Kinect now is not good enough for core games and pushed it for Kinect 2.0 for the nextbox. Maybe it'll be a game that will use both the controller and the new kinect. Can't wait to find out.
