thats a very paranoid post.

developers need an incentive to develop for a console... both financial and creative.

wii owners just dont buy certain genre (financial incentive gone) and the wii console wasnt capable enough (creative incentive hampered)

over to you for a smart response... dont fail me.

Ubisoft's launch title Red Steel, a FPS, had sold one million units (or very close to it) by March 2007. Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition had sold over a million units by March 2008, thus easily exceeded Capcom's expectations of 420k for this timeframe. Wii owners don't buy certain genres: refuted. Financial incentive gone: refuted. Both games were released during the Wii's first year and thus established a base for future projects. One million in sales is financially viable or do you disagree? The financial incentive was undoubtedly there, but third parties at large refused to bring more of these games to the system.

Are the vgchartz numbers wrong on this game? Because they say

1 Red Steel Wii 2006 Shooter Ubisoft 0.54 0.01 0.04 0.05 0.64
2 Red Steel 2 Wii 2010 Shooter Ubisoft 0.29 0.17 0.01 0.05 0.52
