No, it doesn't. Wii U is rumored to be using the R700 series which are the 4xxx gamily of GPUs.

That really doesn't mean much. It might not have all the features a 6xxx series would have but there's nothing saying it can't be more powerful. A 4850 performs better than a 6670 for instance. See this hierarchy chart:
