The lack of thought in this post is frightening. Important question? Silly question more like, it ignores the facts staring you in the face. 

 

1. It wasn't 500m for kinect for the launch, nowhere near.

 

2. Er..... They made a profit so CLEARLY they more than covered whatever they spent.

 

Unfortunately Sony barely covered theirs and Ninty weren't able to cover their obscene marketing spend.... They made a loss.
