That and no time frame is given, so what the European population is going to drop by 80% in a year or a millenium?
Any "source" that claims the European population will decrease by 80% in anything under 300 years is talking BS, while any saying it to happen after a longer period of time can be masked by the unknown (ie who the hell knows what the World will be like in 100 years time)
If the "source" is actually talking any sense then I suspect fattydingdong mis-quoted, and it was actually "decrease TO 80%"... which is at least a feasible possibility.
