Windows 8 may very well gain a huge portion of the PC marketshare very quickly (as you'd expect), but I don't think its appstore will suddenly explode with app's, after a year and a bit I can see Windows 8 app's being of comparable levels to Android and iOS, but I don't think they'll suddenly overtake either in the foreseeable future, Android is having problems with its divided app's being unoptimised for it, and some developers deciding not to release games for Android because its too much trouble to make their app for it when iOS is relatively simpler, I don't see how Windows 8 won't have a similar issue
